We, as managers, need to put our trust in our employees and adapt to this new concept. We need to think creatively about our management style and processes to accommodate new home-workers.
With technology handed to us on a plate and productivity so easily measured nowadays, we surely owe it to the environment to take the plunge. We managers in the UK can be innovative too, so let’s follow the pioneers, companies like Future Travel, the AA, and National Express and fly the flag for the home-worker – and along the way make substantial savings for our businesses.
